The all-new Ducati Monster has been spied testing for the very first time in Germany. The biggest change in the new 2021 Ducati Monster is the new cast aluminium frame which has replaced the distinctive trellis frame, the signature design and structural element of the Monster since 1992. It would be interesting to see how enthusiasts react to this new change.
The overall profile of the bike looks significantly similar than the outgoing model. The exhaust-system is also an all-new unit, with two fat end cans. The low-slung oval headlight setup looks unchanged though. The updated Monster will also come equipped with a more comprehensive electronics package, possibly featuring cornering ABS and traction control.
Although the exact details regarding the displacement and output figures remain unknown at the moment, a new 950 cc powertrain borrowed from the Multistrada 950 is expected. Expect the new Monster to break cover sometime in late 2020 as the test bike looks production-ready.
